The design was chosen from four submitted. This shows the four navy cadet schools used by HMS Conway in the lower left light. To the right is an image of the Conway Chapel at Plas Newydd with the coat of arms above.

The school at Plas Newydd is shown above with the Snowdon range behind. The flag signals spell out the Conway motto - "Quit ye like men be strong". The Greek letters for Jesus in the left group, and alpha omega - "the beginning and the end" - in the right

The top light shows the Conway Chapel at Birkenhead Priory where the window will be installed in 2004.
