David Hillhouse is an artist and designer. He studied at Liverpool College of Art and works from home on Wirral. Paintings in egg tempera, watercolour, acrylics and oils reflect his attention to detail and craftsmanship. A focous on subjects that might be overlooked transforms simple things into something compelling.
He has revived the very old traditions of hand painted glass, but using modern transparent pigments and toughened glass. Commissions to produce windows for churches, business and the home lend his particular abilities to the production of decorative glazing of rare and exceptional quality.
